Now the way this works is as follows: whatever you set as your top priority is your precedence, so what that means is if I set documents as my top priority, when it searches for duplicate files across all three folders let's say it finds the same file in the documents folder in the same file and Downloads folder.. Well, it now knows to keep the documents copy when it comes to automatically selecting the duplicates to be deleted.. You'll notice for example this file right here there's three copies of it so there's three duplicates two of them are in my downloads folder one of them is in My Documents folder and if I use the general select tool to select duplicates here and I select Auto you'll notice it automatically selects the download copies versus the documents copy and that's because I set the precedent I set the priority number one as My Documents folder for the copy I want to keep.
